"WE FANCY THE NORTH!" -

Because that is EXACTLY what we do!

Owner, Claire-Elizabeth, studied for a degree in Events Management in Newcastle. During this time, she picked up a weekend job, working for an event decoration company, called Beckwith Events, owned by Maria Beckwith. Claire learnt the best way to tie bows, put on chair covers, create balloon arches and much more!

That was over 10 years ago...

Beckwith Events was eventually sold by Maria and became known as "The Little Blue Heart Company" and specialised in decor for Weddings. In 2022, the business was offered for sale and Claire stepped up and bought it!

Claire: "It's great to be back doing what I always wanted to do in the first place, but now only this time, I'm my own boss! I can't wait to get creative and conjure up some amazing transformations of spaces! I love the North-East and it's my true pleasure and passion to be up here, making the place look a little fancier!"

Over the past year, Claire has now grown the business and also purchased "BDazzled Florals & Events", which has now been incorporated within "WE FANCY THE NORTH!"

We offer chair covers, sashes, centre pieces, fresh & artificial floral arrangements and arches, aisle runners, balloon artistry & arches, traditional post box hire & photo booth hire.
